Sister Sarah Poirer
Sr. Sarah Poirier was born and raised as a Catholic. She was very active at her home parish after high school participating in the choir, youth group leader, festival advertising, and was a Eucharist Minister. Sr. Sarah received a B.S. in Mathematics from U of M Dearborn. She started discerning religious life in depth during her college days. Sr. Sarah discerned her calling was to The Sisters of Jesus’ Merciful Passion (SOJMP). She now helps run the Shrine of Jesus The Divine Mercy.
Sister Carla Reyna
Sister Carla Reyna was born into an Air Force family and was raised Catholic. She served as a missionary before and after college where she felt a strong call to give my life to something beautiful and true. Sr. Carla has a B.A. in Psychology from Michigan State University and has completed the Spiritual Direction Program from Divine Mercy University. After encountering Jesus’ Divine Mercy, Sr. Carla joyfully pursued a call to Religious Life, and is happily a member of The Sisters of Jesus’ Merciful Passion (SOJMP) and helps run the Shrine of Jesus of The Divine Mercy.
Sister Piper Klatt
Sr. Piper Klatt was born and raised in a Catholic family and grew up in Northern Minnesota. She was very active in her parish and surrounding diocese through her love of music ministry. She has a B.S. in Social Work from Franciscan University of Steubenville and a MSW from Madonna University. Amidst a worldwide pandemic the Lord reignited within her a vocational call to religious life. Sr. Piper joyfully accepted the Lord’s invitation to live a life that would bring her true fulfillment. She is now a member of The Sisters of Jesus’ Merciful Passion (SOJMP) and helps run the Shrine of Jesus The Divine Mercy. Since the beginning I have been able to grow spiritually. I cannot wait to keep growing in this community. Jesus, I trust in You!
